CLC WA is organising a reflective walk in King’s Park to celebrate the Season of Creation which is a time to slow down and focus on what matters. During this special time each year, we repair and restore our relationships with each other and with all creation.
Join us in this season of creation on Sunday September 19th meeting at the DNA tower in King’s Park at 10 am.
There is parking for about twenty cars at the tower and more parking opposite the Women’s Memorial Fountain which is a short two minute walk to the tower.
Participants have a choice of two walks: One for those able to walk for an hour and a half and a much smaller one for those only able to walk for fifteen minutes. Both walks will start at the same time and will be done in silence with points for prayer and reflection at certain stages.
We will all end up at the Women’s Memorial Fountain for a review and lunch together. BYO lunch, water, hat etc.
RSVP: mjgard@iinet.net.au or 0402080785 by Wed Sept.15th.
The theme of this year’s Season of Creation celebration is “the web of life.”
