In October, Chiara Von Perger and Deborah Protter took a group of women on an inaugural walking retreat in the South West. The walk comprised 135 kilometres over seven days. We encountered stunning coastal scenery, wildflowers, and pristine beaches.
We walked with periods of silence giving us a chance to reflect on individual journeys and being present in the moment to this beautiful space.
In the evening we came together to share something of our reflections from the day.
The walk was fully catered with delicious food and we stayed at the Margarets Beach Resort in Gnarabup.
Here are some of the comments from our group:
“ The opportunity to breathe in the spectacular beauty of the landscape in the companionship of wonderfully interesting women. The chance to reflect and relish the detail of the small things”
“ I loved being immersed in nature, slowing down, the stillness, calmness, and support of others”
“Walking in silence, I feel recharged, full of joy and ready to go home and embrace my life”
We are planning to run two shorter 4-day “Highlights of the Cape to Cape” Retreats on April 2-5th 2020 and 15-18th October 2020.
